The This I Believe e-cards are part of a collaboration with Carol Joy Brendlinger and others at the Spiritual Life Center at PSU. Sometime ago, I started received holiday e-cards from my uncle Rod in Spokane. I liked the thoughtful use of internet technology. E-cards are customarily made for birthdays and holidays, sent out by email that says "you've received an e-card from such and such", with a link to an animation.
I asked the Spiritual Life Center if I could sit in on there "This I Believe" conversation series as an artist in residency. I asked people present to write their own "this I believe" statements. I then animated them and invited them to send them to their friends and family.
